This restaurant has been around for a long time and you can tell (in a good way) they're prices are amazing especially for the quality of food that is served. Everything was fresh and tasted as it should. The atmosphere is playful and charismatic, making anyone feel welcome. The owner also greeted us to ensure everything was well. Great experience.
The pizza here is really something I crave for since I left Kansas. The ambience is great and the drinks are decently priced. If you want to get away from the student crowd in downtown, Johnny's tavern is the place to be. It is also next to one of the best bars in town, The Gaslight.
It was a good experience. Went on a Friday evening and was able to get a table as soon as we got to the restaurant. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It was really good. A bit salty but had some good flavor and heat.
Good nachos
Great place, excellent food and service. We just started coming here after our son started at KU. Already our favorite stop. A big shout out to Katie who waited on us and did a fabulous job!!! We will be back soon love the pepper jack bites and cold beers
