Children's Emergency Room - Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican, Siena Campus - Henderson, NV

This place is a complete joke, over 4 hours for my mother to be seen. After she finally got taken to a bed they just left her there without checking up of her, even though she buzzed for the nurse for a very long time because she wasn’t feeling good... no staff ever came to check on her. And this is not the first time this has happened... This has also happened to me, when I was trying to reach a nurse, and i could hear them outside gossiping but they never Came to check what was wrong. This is the most neglectful hospital I have been to... I do not recommend this place at all!

Nephew seen and treated in ER early am hours for traumatic fall injuries. Able to return home hours later. Nephew has nothing but high praise for care received. I was able to be with him for a bit and saw firsthand how professional, kind and attentive his nurse was. Kudos to the amazing staff at St. Rose ER!

Awful experience I went here with my mother because she was having some serious issues. Major pain in the middle to the left part of her chest going into her left arm. She was having trouble breathing as the pain intensified, we ran in and they checked her in and took her away for an EKG after words they questioned her for 20 minutes while she was saying she was in pain from this and we noted she had previous heart issues. They were more concerned about the virus going around which I understand but it clearly was not the issue . After that they gave her a shot of morphine and nausea pills. After this they left us alone for almost 2 hours coming in to just take blood and taking her away once for an x-ray. She threw up a lot and floated in and out of consciousness. No one came , no one gave us the test results hours after. I watched as the staff shared photos on their phones and stood around talking amongst themselves. I stepped out multiple times to ask for assistance or an ETA on when we will see a doctor. They were cold and I understand that in this field you see many things and you can lose compassion but that is not how you run a business which this is at the end of the day. It got to the point where my mother couldn’t take it anymore and wanted to leave. It took almost another hour for them to let us go and when they finally did they just lowered her bed and told us to leave. No wheel chair or any assistance even though it was obvious she couldn’t walk as I carried her out. They did however make sure to charge us a couple thousand dollars for this and let my mother know she could die if she left in the worst way possible. Keep in mind we received no discharge paper work or the test results. WE NEVER GOT TO SEE A DOCTOR AFTER HOURS. She went to urgent care after for not even a fraction of this and was notified she had a heart attack. Do not waste your time with this staff, go literally anywhere else if you value your time , money or your life.

Staff seems to lack any sort of communication between different sects of the hospital care. No sense of urgency when it came to sever pain that had somebody doubled over. You're quickly ushered from place to place, yet you still have two in the waiting for hours to be seen. Not pleased with this experience here at St. Rose. I shouldve listened to word of mouth reviews as well as the ones posted online and went to a different hospital with staff that cares and has at least a minimal sense of urgency.
