I should have listened to the other reviews. Generously giving this review 2 stars since it is only the doctor I saw who should be given a negative rating. Setting up the appointment was fast and easy. Got there early but there was no point, doctor saw me 30 mins after my scheduled time. It took two hours just for a blood draw. I went in requesting very specific tests to be ordered. I received the results but one test was missing. Naturally the doctor ignored my request because she thinks she knows everything and when I asked why the test wasn't ordered she said it wasn't necessary. It's my health and money, if you aren't going to take that seriously than what is even the point of being a doctor. The man who drew my blood was nice and found my vein on the first try. No bruising or anything. About the only good part of that visit. Long story short: if you value your time, money, and health avoid this place.

I really have a lot of respect for Dr. Kyle Brown , my current doctor. I have only had one other doctor, and I am sorry I do not have his name because he was also excellent. Dr. Brown LISTENS, and I feel that we are developing a real partnership with my continual wellness as an objective. He makes recommendations, for sure, and is not at all opposed to compromise and alternatives that we both can agree on. Long ago I learned to advocate for myself with my doctor and I am pleasantly surprised by Dr. Brown. Certainly I am med-compliant, taking my prescription as directed religiously . Anyway, I can’t imagine anyone having a negative experience with Dr. Kyle. Ditto for the guy, Alex, who does the blood draw. Because of a misspent youth, I have difficult veins and Alex is skilled, professional and gentle. The desk folks and the appointment folks are also excellent as is the social worker. All in all, I have had nothing but positive experience at PHC at Mercy and for that I am really grateful.

Never in my life have I ever experienced such a lack of caring from the Mercy Staff. What happened to the patient comes first? Patients best interest? It doesn’t exist at this clinic. A 35 year old is admitted to the hospital with left side numbness. Released without a specific diagnosis, told to follow-up with this doctor. Unable to work. Waited a week to get an appointment. On month later still no diagnosis, symptoms still exist. Treatment plan? Do not go to this clinic if you expect the doctors, office staff, or student doctors to put the patient first and follow-through with their obligations in a timely manner which ultimately could adversely affect your health and well-being.

I've been a patient at this clinic for years, even before they became Primary Health Care. After today, I will never return there to be seen. I've made some unhealthy choices in the past and until today I have never felt like they were used against me in deciding what level of care I should/should not receive or how thoroughly my symptoms are explored at this office. It saddens me to have to find a new primary care physician after all these years.

I have the best nurses and Dr.s here! They are caring and friendly. If there were more medical professionals like the ones at Primary Care the world would be much healthier.
