Went here for Halloween show. Everything was good except the bar tenders attitude. She clearly did not want to be there.

Great venue for DM local bands to support all the way to international pro's.nAtmosphere is getting better every year. The best east village place to rock now-a-days.

Wooly’s is my favorite Des Moines venue. It’s large enough to host great performers but small enough to have a more personal feel to the concerts. It’s a good mix of sitting and standing room and a clean space.

My first concert experience was seeing Relient K here a few years back. A lovely venue! It's not overwhelmingly spacious and creates a nice vibe for any style of music.

Wooly's is a great venu for live bands from all tastes of music. Big enough to attract a great selection of talent, but small enough yo get up close. Great bar service. Not a fancy place, more of a dive motif, but it has a lot of character. You can reserve tables on the floor or booths along the side...booths are slightly elevated so can see from seating whereas tables are just on the floor so if you spend extra get the booth and not the tables.
