I love this store!! The owner is very knowledgeable and helps me figure things out in my own tanks. The atmosphere is laid back and the products here are hand picked by the owner to ensure that they are very high quality. The creatures that live in the store are very well taken care of and healthy. If there is a sick animal, the owner will quarantine it and take care of it until it is healthy again. I am very grateful to live near this shop since it helps me pursue this hobby!
I really have loved seeing this store grow under the current ownership. He has one of the best selection of aquatic animals in the Des Moines area. I have purchased several fish and have never been disappointed. I will be a long time shopper!
I went in and found this tank I fell in love with, at the time I was in a car at 5:30 and they close at 6pm, I asked the owner if it’s possible for me to drive home to get my Jeep and he let me! I came after close to buy the fish tank and I absolutely love it! And at a great price I knew I couldn’t pass it up. Super friendly staff and awesome store overall. Definitely check it out!
Adams aquatics is THE place to go for healthy fish! We went in to buy a nerite snail, and were amazed at the different varieties of fish! Sure, it's a little more expensive than petco or petsmart, but you get what you pay for! Will go again for our fish needs! (This is coming from someone who visited aqualand pet supplies the day before, the difference is HUGE)
Very nice quality fish. Only problem is nobody wears a mask in this store. And if you go in there wearing a mask you will be ignored.
