Broadlawns Medical Center - Medical Plaza

I had the most horrific experience at Broadlawns Behavioral Health. I am so disgusted with Broadlawns Behavioral Health, provider Kelly Weiss-Kreps, nurse/manager Jill Houle and the “Patient Advocate”. I have clearly been labeled “something”, no one will give me any clear answers as to why I was treated the way I was and why I had been terminated as a patient after 2 visits with a single provider. The provider I saw twice seemed very confused and unsure of herself. After the first visit I didn’t think we were a good fit and did not plan on returning, but I made a follow up appointment anyway. I hadn’t been feeling well and visited urgent care after my first appointment but prior to my second. The doctor I was seen by at urgent care was wonderful and couldn’t find my second appointment with Kelly Weiss Kreps. The urgent care provider scheduled another appointment for me with Kelly Weiss Kreps and suggested I go to the appointment and that if it did not go well to request to be seen by her instead. I was a “good girl”, took my meds, went to urgent care when I felt depressed/suicidal and went to the second appointment with Kelly Weiss Kreps. Appointment did not go well. Kelly Weiss Kreps seemed to not understand a word I or my mother said, every single time she’d repeat what she thought she heard me say it was wrong. Every single time. As if she wasn’t even trying to UNDERSTAND. Throughout the frustrating appointment I kept my composure and answered questions fully and honestly, I was never rude or nasty or out of line. I would never, that type of behavior is not in my nature. After the appointment I did just what the urgent care provider suggested I do if the appointment did not go well. I went back to the front desk and requested to be seen by another provider, the one I was treated by in urgent care. I was told someone would call me about it. I got a call from nurse/manager Jill Houle, call lasted less than 5 minutes. She said I’ve been terminated from the clinic and can’t be seen by any provider there and would not tell me why and hung up on me. Jill Houle you treated me very poorly, you’re a manager and a nurse, how can you treat someone you’ve never met or talked to or even have all the correct information about, so poorly?nKelly Weiss-Kreps how can you be so judgmental, close-minded and ignorant? You’re a provider yet because you weren’t understanding something you made awful assumptions and obviously made false statements about me to your manager. Instead of asking clarifying questions about the things you did not understand. You did not try to get to know me either, like at all. Bottom line, I came for care and left with more heartache and stress, feeling disgusted about how I’d been treated. What you’ve done is wrong, in the eyes of humanity, the healthcare system and probably the justice system as well. Shame on you Kelly Weiss-Kreps and shame on you Jill Houle, you’re both disgusting people and providers. I called to speak with a “Patient Advocate” (another 5 minutes or less call) and was told nothing can be done. It was clear the representative did not give a single care about me or how I was treated or the facts of this matter. What’s wrong or right or just. And told me she’d hang up on me too. Just because she didn’t have any answers for me either. She would not or could not (or both) answer any question I asked. Because of the dead-air on her part by being silent when I’d ask a question, she advised she’d hang up on me too. Something is wrong here. There has been a huge injustice and a case of malpractice. How many other people are being treated this poorly here? What do I do? What can I do? Who do I write?
