The Iowa Clinic Ankeny Campus

I had a lab draw scheduled for Monday morning and the woman checking me in at the front desk was beyond rude. She's the face of the doctor's office at The Iowa Clinic and should have a smile and provide a welcoming experience. I would normally not say anything because sometimes people have a bad day, especially on a Monday morning, but this isn't the first time this has happened with the particular person. She made me feel as if I was intruding on her day by coming in. She's not wearing a name badge or else I could tell you her name.nnThe lab techs are AMAZING though and have never had a problem with any of them. They are beyond friendly, quick and efficient. Just wanted to provide some feedback. Thanks!

You make your workers go to work after quarantining for state recommended days for COVID but you make your patients that have waited for months for a appointment for 28 days? Wow. Phone numbers on appointment reminders don’t work to call for this question. Looking elsewhere.

I had an appointment at the Medical Imaging department. Check in was easy, office staff was friendly, my appointment was on time, technician was cordial, professional and efficient.

We were able to get registered right away on 1.8.20 about 5:20pm. We were told that since I didn't have my insurance card and my daughter had not been seen there before, I had to pay $100 to be seen. I reluctantly gave them the credit card payment. We were taken back to exam room within 10 minutes of arrival. After the nurse got the information from us the nurse practitioner came in and saw us. We were on the way out and the registration clerk asked us to wait. We stopped and she told me that she had gotten our insurance information from my visit a year or so ago and added it to our visit today AND called accounting and had the $100 refunded. What great service! Better than service at any other urgent care in town! I will be spreading the news about your excellent service! We were out of there in 45 minutes!

I've had nothing but good experiences here. Went to the OB when I was pregnant, go there now for the Pediatrician, and also decided to use them for my own primary care. Everything is convenient and all of the staff are friendly and take good care of the clients. Dr. Tomlinson is an excellent pediatrician in case anyone wants to know. :)
