This is the second time we've tried Magee's and if you knew anything about us you know this is the one place we want to love. But the food is nothing special bland. Today I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was crispy on the outside but Mushy and slimy around the actual fish. And parts of the fish were oddly hard. The fries are fabulous along with their homemade tartar sauce.nnMy husband ordered the Irish breakfast and they forgot to being the sausage.nnService- this hasn't improved since going our first time. our first experience they took our number and told us to text us when they had a table open we went to the operating room and played some game and about 35 minutes later walked over to check they just forgot to text us and didn't even know we were waiting.nnThis time there was only one gentlemanalthough it wasn't very busy he brought us our drink menus and then told us he didn't want us to order any specialty drinks because he would have to make them. My husband thought he was joking around and ordered a drink and he pouted about. So he changed his drink to beer.nnI want to love this place but they need to get better staff in the food needs to taste better, currently it just tastes like they don't actually cook anything but microwave and deep fry pre-made stuff.

This place has a great location, patio space with a nice scene and interior vibe. Good selection of beers and liquor, namely Irish whisky. One item on the menu that is difficult to find at other Irish pubs is the full Irish breakfast. When you are craving black and white pudding this will fit the bill. The burgers, not sure all of them do but, come on a pretzel bun...very good.

What a WONDERFUL place! The food was amazing. Hubby got the Reuben and said it's the best he's ever had. I had a side salad with Parmesan garlic dressing and a bowl of the Irish stew. The Parmesan garlic is like nothing you've ever had. It's not creamy; it has more of a viniagrette taste to it, but it's delicious. The stew was so hardy with a gentle, but evident Guinness undertone to it. I didn't have room for dessert, but I did take a caramel apple home with me. And the atmosphere!! OMG, it's gorgeous! Staff was friendly, too. We will be back and bring friends!

Got an app of fried Brie that needed to be warmer, melted and to me it did not taste like Brie so won't get that again. The bartender, Liberty, was very nice and the drinks were very good! Nice place, will definitely go back again for dinner.

This has become one of my favorite places to eat. I have tried almost everything on the menu, and have yet to be let down.nnTheir bar staff are good conversationalists, and their servers are efficient and friendly.nnThe food is good, hearty, and full of flavor.
