Not a good experience in the ER. I just went to the nearest one and did not know better. The doctor was pretty good, but the communication left a lot to be desired, I asked for a cup of water three times and they never brought me one. Then I needed to wait for my ride to get there and they stuffed me in this dark room with in the back uncomfortable chairs with a freshly broken bone. Would not go back here.

My wife recently had a c-section done here. It started out as a 38-week prenatal appointment, then the OB recommened a c-section based on the the baby's large size and my wife's elevated BP, and we were immediately transferred to Labor and Delivery. Despite the tense situation, the staff were so friendly, professional, and calming that it made the whole process easier to go through for my wife and myself. With the exception of one nurse, absolutely everybody - nurses, doctors, lactation consultant, social worker, etc. - was fantastic. Baby received excellent care, and the staff assigned to him were transparent and flexible with us regarding his care. This was the best hospital experience I've ever had. If you need to have a c-section done, get it done here. I just want to say thank you to the Methodist Hospital staff who cared for us. You hear so many horror stories about bad hospital experiences. This was the exact opposite. My only gripe was that the hospital food wasn't very good, but it pales in comparison to everything else.

Horrid experience. Like previous reviews do NOT go here unless you are DYING. They don't care if you lay there in a full muscle seizure not able to breathe or move. You are not an emergency and they'd rather tell you to take some ibuprofen and go home. Oh but they'll still charge you for that, don't bother arguing it. You are only a dollar sign to them. Go to literally ANY other hospital.

Be ready to wait a long time if you aren't dying
