Asked for a certain Keen shoe I found on Keen's website. I told I needed it in wide and he told me they didn't make it in a wide. I simply said I found it online in wide. He got rude with me and told me to buy it online then. I wanted to buy local but guess I will get better service online so that is where I will shop. To bad I have bought boots here lots of times for work but new employees I found to be rude. Won't be back

My husband purchased a pair of work boots at Brown's 6 weeks ago. The shoe strings have already worn out. Brought boots up to Brown's this afternoon and they refused to stand behind the product. Claimed the shoe maker would not stand behind the shoe strings, just the shoes so therefore they as a business could not replace them. Instead sold me a pair of expensive shoe strings. Would have been nice if they would have offered to discount shoe strings or at least put them in the shoes. Makes it difficult to shop local when the service is less than I would expect from larger stores.

Got steel toes for work here, and they've held up pretty well so far
