We actually drove up from Iowa City to Prairieburg...but they dodnt open until 2pm...and a nice man stopped and told us about Hillside in Monticello...so we tried it! Food was really good and the Service was EXCELLENT!! Highly recommended!

I really want to like this place, but they seem to only appreciate their regular customers.
Good food and great service, a friendly atmosphere and good prices. On our last visit, there was kids running around and bothering us though.
The food was great! Pleasant surprise in small town Iowa. Just be prepared for a wait. The food was 5+ stars. The service....2. But, the food makes it worth the wait.
