Stopped by with my Dad for a burger at Rocky O'Brien's Public House, at the advice of a local man as the McDonald's didn't allow eating in the restaurant. We had an hour available before my dad's clinic appointment. The Bartender Craig set us up with a couple of the Blarney Burgers with pepperjack cheese and fries. I got mine medium and my dad's was medium well. Both burgers and fries were much better than anything we could hope for at McDonald's. Cold bud-light washed it down nicely, although there are many custom brews on tap to choose from. Pool tables, pinball and other games to play...clean bathroom was a plus. I'll have to stop by on my next visit through Iowa city. Close to I-80.
It's kinda a quiet place but I love it here. Staff is on top of things and food is yummy!
Great beer selection. Adam is a great bartender. Good food. A lot of TVs to watch football. Clientele is pretty nice. Always have fun at Rocky's.
Rocky's is absolutely my favorite bar/restaurant in this area. They have a wonderful selection of beer, a great menu to choose from and a prompt and friendly staff. If you like a great Reuben sandwich, Rocky's is the place!
