We were visiting Charles City today and needed to stop somewhere for lunch. I'm really glad we decided to try Pub on the Cedar. We ordered our food to go, so that gave us some time to walk by the Cedar River while we waited for our order. The trail along the river is beautiful this time of year with the fall leaves. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. We ordered a marinara pasta and also some red pepper poppers.
Great food and drinks
Great food, awesome service. The latest time there ( Friday, Sept. 04 ), we had three wait staff being attentive to our needs.nnWe seated ourselves on the patio and were approached for our drink order within a minute. Menus arrived soon after, followed by drinks. Order taken promptly, appetizer arrived quickly, meal followed.
Good food and good service. Waiter was excellent and very kind.
Good selection of food. Super fast turnaround time ordering to eating. Great wait staff.
