West Bank

I have been a West Bank customer for 30yrs now. Their service has always been top notch with personal detail you only get with a smaller bank. I've referred friends and family alike (both personal and business) all having the same great experiences and attention to detail. Living in Waukee, I was thrilled when they opened a location that far West. I look forward to many more years of doing business together!

I have been a customer of West Bank for the past 30 years, starting at the main location in West Des Moines. It is important to me to support local business, and I am pleased to choose West Bank for all of my banking and financial needs. To date I have always received excellent service. Currently I frequent the Waukee branch office and have been delighted to receive outstanding personal customer service each and every time I visit. It is clear this location is well managed, and each employee goes above and beyond to make sure all of my needs are met!

DO NOT BANK WITH WEST BANK. LESS THAN ONE STAR!! I’m not one to leave reviews at all ,but my latest interactions with the Waukee branch of West Bank was inexcusable. Reasons why:n1. Set up an appointment with this bank. The person I was to meet was a no show no call to cancel. Subsequently leaving me to sit in the lobby for a half hour only to be told by another “ I was told I have to help you”. Wasting a half hour of my work day. Said person did not know how to do the particular transaction I was asking for. Wait another half hour of my work day to listen to her on the phone asking how to do the transaction. Only to get an application form that was barley legible at best” seriously printer ink is not hard to keep on hand”. Mind you I had been there for over an hour at this point.n2. This “bank” has rude, in seasoned individuals running this facility.n3. I have to carry two different debit cards. My first one failed at the strip after two months. Took time out of my hourly workday to fix this banks lack of detail to debit card practices. To get a card that fails at at the chip. So I spend my days wondering what the particular establishment will accept, only to be embarrassed numerous times due to the me guessing to use the chip card or the magnetic stop card.n4. At every turn the policy’s and all in all customer service with this establishment has been a total let down.
