Wait was long, got wrong steaks. Usually great.
I have enjoyed Texas Roadhouse for many years, and will for many more. But, it will not be this location in Cedar Falls. The last time I went here I was quoted a wait time of 20-25 minutes by the servant at check in. They said to wait in our vehicle till we received a text, which is understandable considering the pandemic. I get to my vehicle and see that my Check-in text says a wait time of 40-50 minutes. I wait the 50 minutes and no text, so I decide to go back in and find out what’s going on since my glucose is going low. They tell me there is another 15-20 minute wait because there are 5 other parties ahead of us. We left and went to Longhorn Steakhouse. Longhorn gave us a 10-15 minute wait time, and we were seated in 5 minutes. I’d venture to say the food was much better than the Roadhouse, and the service was absolutely better.
The food at this establishment is Outstanding!!! They now have it where you are able to call ahead and reserve a seatings area! I had the 16oz Texas Ribeye, Sweet potato/carmel sauce... The fried pickle chips were amazing!! The waitress we had was soo on top of it!!nI would recommend calling ahead for seating though, we had to wait approximately 25 minutes but, it was well worth the wait!!
Food was great. It was very busy though. But they did have plastic barriers everywhere though so I did feel safe. Would definitely recommend.
Haven't been dissapointed with them yet. Always great food, and even better sweet potatoes.
