I went in to have stitches removed and the doctor said that she didn't know how to remove them. Ended up going to Unity Point and a PA removed them. What a joke!

This is an ok place to go for that in-between care that many of us end up needing - when scheduling with a regular doctor for an appointment that may be several days out n/or ER visit is not necessary. Most of the staff are pretty nice, too.

0 stars if that was possible to give. I went to urgent Care with flu symptoms. After waiting 15 mins a nurse came in who not only was rude and condescending but short with me. I tried to explain with hand gestures what I was feeling because I couldn't speak. She said you have to talk, hand signs won't work. After an excruciating ordeal of talking to explain it all, she said I don't have any temperature. Nothing's wrong with me. I was made to wait more than 15 mins before Dr.Rafferty came. He had me tested for strep and whole bunch said I have almost nothing wrong. Waiting almost half hour this time. Wrote me a prescription for antibiotic.nnThis antibiotic not only made my condition worse, I am coughing non stop now but I have lost hearing in my left ear. The ear that was already painful and infected. And everytime I could the pain is severe.nnI would have rather endured all this instead of going to this hospital. It is not MERCY. It is MERCENARY HOSPITAL. All they care about is run tests and make more money. Patients could go to hell for all they care.

The office is wonderful being able to conveniently come into the office and not have a wait time and can get in and out in a timely matter is wonderful, also having the convenience of being able to know that you can be sent to ER if need be with out an ambulance or be admitted if things are serious without the inconvenience of 2 unnecessary stops wont go anywhere else

I went into convenient care a couple days ago. I saw Dr. Rafferty. I was having pretty significant stomach pains. After they took my temp, blood pressure, etc Dr Rafferty came in. He spent MAYBE 5 minutes with me. Told me I had the stomach flu and sent me home.nnLater that night I was having SEVERE stomach pains. I couldn't stand it. I went to the emergency room at Allen. They drew some blood to run tests and did a CT scan. 2 simple tests revealed I had appendicitis. I had to be taken upstairs and have my appendix removed.nnThe doctors at convenient care rush through their patients just to get a paycheck. If he had taken the time to just order a couple tests I would still had to have my appendix removed but I wouldn't have had to endure the excruciating pain that lead up to that.
