This was my first time at a LongHorn Steakhouse. Not bad of an experience. But your Ribs are not smoked! At least season them! Put a dry rub on them before u throw them in that oven. I'm a Rib enthusiast! The only thing that was good about them was the BBQ sauce that pretty much covered up that U guys bake these Ribs, then threw them on a flamed grill to TRY and give them a smoke flavor.. not working or good. It gives them a flame broiled flavor for Steak. Put some wood in that oven and give them that smoked flavor. U will have me coming back for more. We also had a 12 oz Ribeye that was perfect, the sides were great with our dinner except for the cold fries. Not good. Sides should always be fresh when served with dinner. Other than that, our server Kenny was great. He offered to bring fresh fries but we were already into our dinner. Stick to the Steaks LongHorn.
Best steakhouse in town. I visited Waterloo several times in the last 10 years and since longhorn exists, it is my favorite steakhouse. Prices are a little higher, but the location is very nice, clean and the steaks are outstanding. I love the prime rib which I order every time I am here.
We both had the ribeye. Hubby had the sweet potato, done to perfect. Not nearly burnt or dried out. I had the roasted brussel sprouts. Nice season, tender. Our salads were drowning in dressing. It's all you could taste. The service was great. Our server was up beat. Overall, a good night and we'll go back again.
Great food as always but we deeply appreciated the efforts to social distance. Living in Massachusetts for half the year we have seen the worse side of Covid-19 and are sometimes a bit taken aback by the less-than-careful attitude of some of the folks around here. Our server Kenneth (Kenny) was both cordial and efficient.
Sam was one of the best servers I've had in a long time. She was very nice and attentive. I never once had to flag her down to ask for something. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Thanks for making our 23rd anniversary a great one!
