Was really disappointed. We actually made a special trip, just for the purpose of getting this touted pork tenderloin. Huge waste of time, effort and money.nTwo sandwiches with sides and one ice cream was $30.00nNever again.nThe order was incorrect. The tenderloin was undercooked. You could still see white flour on the outside, it was not at all crispy. In fact it was soggy. We had to ask, (they weren't offered), for condiments and napkins. We got some of the condiments, but zero napkins. We ordered shoe string fries, but got potato wedges which were also not crisp. They were rubbery. And following suit, the onion petals were done the same way.nThis is simply just not the iconic place it used to be.
Met family from Nebraska here for lunch. Very good food & sizable portions. Two things to be aware of are (1) refills on soda are not free & (2) they don't accept plastic. We had to drive to a bank nearby & pull some cash from the ATM to pay for our lunch, but they were very understanding.
Enjoyed the thick tenderloin. CASH ONLY!!!
Very fresh food large servings and friendly service. Great family environment
The Tenderloin was thin, but not so thin that it was dry. Breading was good. I understand why they were voted Best Tenderloin in Iowa a few years ago. The breaded Cauliflower was delicious, also. Next time, I'll try their Cod. All sandwiches were $6.50.
