Bar Down

I would give a review of 2.5 stars if possible as this place is about average. The atmosphere is good and the patio is very nice, but we have been there 5-6 times and you never know what you will get with regards to service and food quality.nnWe had a great server a couple times, while the other times we had very poor service and were constantly waiting on drinks, even when it was not that busy and there were plenty of servers around. The food is on the more expensive side for what you get, especially for apps, and is average taste/quality. In the future I would go here for a drink, but probably not a meal.

I've been here several times. The menu is good, but what's on it is prepared perfectly. This is not a microwave only bar kitchen, but a scratch restaurant with an excellent bar. Nice place to hangout, meet friends, celebrate big, or take the family to for an excellent meal

Had the pizza and it was awesome and affordable. Huge pizza size, crust and sauce had super taste. Pineapple, Canadian bacon and mozzarella were the bomb!

Bar was huge, nice layout. Food needs some work, onion rings look and taste like donuts and the cheeses curds were overcooked. Will give it another shot since they might need to work out some links yet.

I understand it may have not been known that Lake Crest apartments is an echo chamber but it in fact is. I can hear people 100 yards away on their patio, even if it's across the street. Now I have to waste energy, turn on my a/c and close my doors and windows on beautiful days or be forced to listen to whatever y'all are playing over there. Thoroughly unhappy about this, if it was there before I moved in I would understand but I definitely lived here first and now I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to move. Never been to bar down and pretty sure I never will go.
