After working for almost a month straight my wife and I wanted to splurge on a much needed night out.nMaxwells did not disappoint. The scallops with a sauce was amazing and the main course chicken again knocked it out of the park.nI was however let down by the service. It was longer than expected to have a waitress assigned to our table. After our wine the server never came back to refill the water or even ask if more was needed.nOverall I would recommend Maxwells to anyone.
Service, food, and drinks are always top notch and consistent. Maxwells offers a warm, inviting atmosphere where you never feel rushed. Hands down our favorite restaurant in Fargo.

Impressive restaurant, bar and service. Went for a wine tasting party and then started for dinner. We shared scallops along with a burger and Sweet potato fries and loved all of them.nnUpdate: Another visit last night was equally impressive. On a friend's recommendation, ordered the bison meatballs appetizer and was impressed with how tender and flavorful it was. My wife ordered ribeye (possibly the most tender I've ever had) and I ordered grilled salmon (also good). The patio wedges that came with my wife's ribeye were fantastic - nice, crispy outside with a tender inside...and the seasoning was fantastic! I was celebrating my Birthday, so my server brought a chef-special cherry tartlet that was delicious. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Fargo/Moorhead area - I highly recommend a visit.nnIf this review is helpful, please click on 'Like' to improve my status.
