This company has been here for years, and it was a good neighbor until it installed outdoor lights so numerous and so bright that they blind drivers on the Interstate at least three miles away. It is worse than driving against an oncoming car with its bright lights on. In fact, although the street lights on the new extension of Winter Show Road are also too bright and numerous, the lights on the John Deere plant completely drown them out. The John Deere plant should dim these lights by 50 percent or more, direct them onto their own property and away from the highway, possibly control their security lights with motion sensors, and be a good neighbor again.
