This is a truly great place to take your dog. They treat her like “family”. Flossy took the training classes with Nathan and she’s such a well mannered puppy. The ladies at the desk are so sweet and genuine. Professionally managed spot.
The groomer in house is terrific. They care about her diet and feeding schedule. They play area is manager minute by minute. You get checkout photos from her day. Craft days. Pirate day etc. the pup cones are delicious. I highly recommend you go talk to them about letting your dog be a part of this “community” of fur babies.
My puppy really enjoys going here for daycare. Most of the front staff knows my dog by his name and greet him with such love and happiness. He’s ready to go to the back door and start playing. He plays in the small play area which is nice, sometimes I wish the small dogs get a chance to play outside instead of just the dogs. They have cameras which is important to me. Sometimes I have worried that he was being kenneled more than playing and I spoke to them about it and they told me their quiet times so I try to take him during play times so ensure he’s playing more than being kenneled up. Overall, it’s a great place and I will continue to use it as long as it keeps my pup happy.
We LOVE this place! Our golden puppy started HPR's daycare/training 3x a week. I am a helicopter dog mom and I feel SO comfortable leaving my pup in their capable hands during the day.
For training: Nathan the trainer does an awesome job working with her, and we've seen a huge difference in her trainability at home. We especially like how they use positive training methods. He gives a video to help you see what Kava worked on that day and to direct her "homework," which is really helpful.
For daycare: When our girl first started going to school, she was scared of the other doggies (not properly socialized due to COVID). The counselors and owner were SO attentive to her. The owner called me once to go over Kava's fear and the steps they were taking to help her. They tried a bunch of different things to make her feel more comfortable, and they went at her pace. The last time she went she was playing and having fun-- and she gets better each time! We also love the photos and report card and the doggie webcams so we can see what she's up to during the day.
Haven't tried grooming yet but definitely will because we trust this place so much.
I wouldn't consider sending my pup anywhere else for daycare or boarding!
Great customer service. Answered all my question in a complete and professional manner. Staff is absolutely amazing. We will definitely be bridging our boy Vegas back and our lil girl Stiletto for her first time. We're so Super excited we found Henderson Pet Resort. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!
I've been bringing my dog to Henderson Pet Resort for over a year and I absolutely LOVE this place!! They take such great care of my fur baby. My dog loses it as soon as we turn into the parking lot lol. He's so excited to go to doggy day care and play with his friends. I've also had to board him there for a week and he really loved it. They send you report cards and pix so you can see how your baby is doing!! It definitely puts my mind at ease knowing that he's being taken care of. They also do grooming, which is a godsend! My dog HATES getting his nails clipped and they are the only ones who are able to get it done!! BRING YOUR FUR BABY TO HENDERSON PET RESORT!! You will be so glad you did!!
