We had nothing but a great experience. The owner was very thorough as well as the staff. They took great care of our cat before we purchased, and even after, when we had questions, we could rely upon them for answers. A local veterinarian works with Yuppy Puppy to ensure that all the pets are well--he is also very kind, helpful, and wonderful with animals just like this store.
Puppies are all from the midwest, meaning they are from puppy mills. I would encourage anyone thinking of buying a puppy here to research the risks of buying a puppy mill puppy as well as the facts of the industry their money is supporting.nnFor other supplies and services, I can say Yuppy Puppy has good prices and selection. Staff is helpful, store is clean. It is just too bad they have to resort to trucking in puppies from puppy mills.
Not a place I would recommend. It seems like a puppy mill even though they say they are not. They had rescue dogs in there. But the owner slipped and said we may need to send them back to the breeder....hmmmm. Rescue dogs or just a good front. Prices are way out of line. you can get better things right at Walmart in the same plaza. But you make your own decision. I will never go back and tell everyone I know what I experienced at that place.
