Northford Store

A nice small store to pickup some small items. In and out in minutes. Very nice inside, clean and well stocked.

Worst experience ever!! If I could give them a neg 10 I would. I'm a long time customer. Customer service USED to be excellent. But ever since they hired this new girl (fat dirty blonde girl with no customer service skills at all!!) a few months ago service has gone down hill. One of the last times I was in there, all you heard was this girl complaining about the owner and how they don't know how to run their business. How they were stupid and that she could do a much better job that the owners. The girl was saying all this behind the counter while we were waiting for her to help us, which she refused to do because she stated that it wasn't her job. Well they didn't hire you to complain about the business either. The girl was so rude and condescending. We still can't believe she still has a job there. The store is going to, well it already has lost a few long standing customers because of this person. The very last time my wife was there this piece of work for an employee was giving someone a hard time about paper bags at the register. Stating how they are illegal in the state of CT. What an idiot she sounded like. The owner better explain the new bag tax to her because she has no clue. She was literally yelling at the customer at the register. The girls tone and attitude was the last straw for my wife. She put everything back and left the store. Still can't believe that they hired her in the first place and that she still has a job. We and quite a few of our friends will never shop there again, more like if they don't replace her, we will continue to give the competition our money. We've been going there for years and the service was always excellent until this new girl showed up. She is a poor representation for the store.

Friendly and convenient! I once needed a lighter to start a fire at home, and although they did not have any in stock, the woman working the register went to her car and have me one. That type of thought and consideration is scarce.

Nick and his team make this a first class experience with quality meats, deli and service

Cashier is superficially nice. I feel looked down upon when I'm there shopping. They have a lot to offer as a store. But really try to avoid having to go there.
