I moved to the New Haven area in 2015 and was in search of a new tailor. I found the Theory brand at Raggs and have been buying from Tom Maloney (owner) ever since. He is personable, very knowledgeable about the industry, keeps a close tab on what is in fashion, and makes sure the selection in his store reflects current trends. Over the years I have gone in to see him and seek advice on what to wear for work, formals, and other special occasions and he has always delivered and been pleasant to work with. Tom is passionate about his trade and is a real asset to have in New Haven. I highly recommend Raggs and hope other people will stop in and support this excellent small business owner/operator.
I have shopped here for many years and Raggs remains one of my favorite clothing stores even including some of the best NYC shops!
If you’re looking for something unique, need to alter your wardrobe or need a knowledgeable fashion consultant with the latest trends in men’s wear - Raggs is the place to go. I have been shopping at Raggs since 1996 and until this day, I always leave the store with something. Wonderful customer service and a great selection of men’s clothing.
