SHADY, SHADY, SHADY!!nBought a pair of sneakers for Mother’s Day gift. Explicitly asked about return/refund policy since they were a gift and I was not sure of the correct size. Was assured by sales woman that with receipt and unworn can be returned within 2 weeks. Returned two days later around 11:30 a.m and was told “Can’ give you a refund”. When I pointed to the large sign on table with return/ exchange policy was then told “It’s too early. I ain’t got no change.” I said how is that possible when this store is a cash-only store? Was then told “It’s been a slow day. Only exchange or store credit”. I said I definitely want my money back so I asked what time I should come back. Was told to go to Hamden or downtown store, I said no way and said I’ll be back later to return shoes and get my refund. The woman answered “call first before you come”. Really???? What legitimate cash-only business will open for the day without any money in the cash register? She never looked at the receipt to check amount due, it was only $40.nDraw your own conclusions. Next time just open a laundromat if you don’t want to deal with refunds.
