A family favorite for over 20 years now. I have brought my friends from across the east coast here because this is my go to standard for ice cream and soft serve. Always really friendly staff and a lot of space for parking and for eating. Due to the COVID-19 safety restrictions, a lot of changes have happened including only 1 cashier handling money and then 2 people handling ice cream for safety reasons. Even still, lines aren't too bad and wait time is pretty fast. We wait for it to open in the spring and then go to it almost every other week throughout the summer into the fall. Overall such a great place to take family and friends for some classic ice cream.

Durham Dari Serv is excellent. They have the best ice cream & soft serve, etc. There are long lines for a reason, but it moves quickly. I've been going to D.D.S. for over 20 years now and this place is a Durham classic.
