Pleasant experience. We painted our craft outdoors and it was a blast. Friendly, professional staff who was patient and checked on us often . Beautiful location filled will welcoming vibes. I’m definitely going back.

The Claypen is a beautiful, well light paint your own pottery studio right in the heart of West Hartford. They offer a huge array of pottery to paint with expect tips and a variety of colors and specialty glazed. They even offer a custom artist to jazz up a piece or to create professional custom artwork for great gifts. I’ve only painted pottery there but I am looking forward to trying one of their string art or glass fusing classes soon or even trying one of their events at other local business. The Claypen is a top notch female founded business I would definitely recommend to anyone of any age and any level of artistic ability.
