I went in to pawn my necklace so I can pay some bills and I dealt with Marco. he made me feel very comfortable leaving my jewelry with them. I was nervous at first because I did not know how much I would get but I was pleasantly surprised not just by the offer, but by how affordable their rates are! I wont go anywhere else from now on. This place is great!
I've been in this shop twice and both times I've witnessed multiple people being totally ripped off while selling their items. Big screen TVs being bought from obviously desperate people for $10! Out of curiosity I asked what their cheapest TV sells for and they said $250 on up. How's that for exploiting the poor! Not only that, some of the staff are incredibly rude to customers, particularly the man at the register. Yankee Peddler in New Britain gets my vote as the absolute worst, most cruel pawn shop in the country due to exploiting the poor, overt condescension and the horrible unfriendly vibe you get when walking in.
Best pawn shop around. Been here 20 years. Great staff. Lots of choices.
