I've been a customer here through several different corporate owners. While I'm not taken by what TD Bank has done in terms of interior design, I don't generally go to banks to judge their interior decorating. Overall, my experience here has been good. I find this staff to be on the young side, but knowledgeable and friendly. Bank staff was most incredibly helpful in assisting me with issues related to eldercare and conservatorship, taking probably an hour or more of their time on one particular occasion to get things straightened out and explained to me. They later again were most extremely helpful with estate related issues. If I'm being truly fair, they're a whole lot more helpful than some of the previous banks that have operated in this building and their hours are most convenient.nnMy only real issue was getting someone there to put a medallion guarantee stamp on some paperwork. I could just not manage to be there when their medallion persons were. This is not a mainstream banking function and is more of an extra that they offer to assist their customers who buy and sell stocks and securities so it would be churlish to take points off on their review as a bank for their performance in an area that is essentially an extra.

I loved TD bank when I used to live in New Britain. We are very disappointed of the staff since we moved to Newington. Dealing with those people in Newington is a nightmare. No urgency to help people.nIt’s not like I do have high expectations. I just used to work as a personal banker and I do know what things can be done by people who work there and what can’t be done. In this branch I feel like I bother them every time I walk in. Tellers are always unhappy and very mean. They never know what I’m asking for. I don’t know if it’s matter of being lazy or just lack of knowledge and understanding customers. I’m with this bank few years but I really think of switching to different bank where customers are treated personally, not another number of transaction that has to be done during the day. Banking it’s not only about doing the basic transactions correctly like deposits or withdraws all day long , it’s also about helping customers and do some “extraordinary” things that matters for them at this certain moment. It looks like they don’t even care that the people are unhappy when they leave the bank.
