The store is great but sadly the level of customer service is sad. I understand that things like a bagger may not always be available but to have one walk off without reason tonight was about enough for me. There were plenty of people (it was between 8-9pm) this woman walked off and no one stepped up. Details make everything and you are missing the details.
Clean, clear big aisles. Easy to navigate and find things. Colorful displays in produce and floral when entering. Nice cafe area. Helpful staff. Very safety conscious for Covid. Customers respectful. Love Big Y!
I tried to pick up a medication from the pharmacy under Good RX program specifically due to their proximity to my home and the price, yet for the medication, they said they would not honor the coupon cost because they lose money at that price. I called Good RX and they advised me they have a contract and should be honoring the price. The only caveat was if it is a controlled, they dont have to. However, this is Schedule II that I am using for an alternate reason as prescribed. I believe if they dont intend to honor it, it shouldnt be listed as a participating medication for their pharmacy. The woman at the counter was lovely and apologetic. Its not her fault. Its on BIG Y.
So refreshing to shop at Big Y yesterday. No lines, clean, friendly helpful employees and wide aisles. A little drive from Colchester but so worth it. A little less stress during these troubled times. Thank you!
I gladly drive from Colchester to this store. The staff is great, the store is astonishingly clean, and I've never had a problem finding sale items. The meats and produce seem to be better and last longer than another chain with stores in the area.
