Edit: deli has improved.nnSlowest deli ever. Saw rotten produce attracting flies today. Other stores have better meat.nnOnly shop here because it's convenient.
I bought 2 packets of Australian lamb shank in Sept.nsince the price was $3:99 a pound and also these were the last 2 pacts left.nSince I had not thought about a recipe I froze it.nJust yesterday I defrosted them by leaving in my fridge and then in cold water.nWhen I opened the wrapper this meat had a very strong smell.nI looked it and it smells so bad and tasted also bad.nWe buy Australian lamb very often from Costco and it never smells.nThe quality was so bad. That now my family is totally put off lamb.nI do not have the receipt but have the sticker on the packet.nPlease look into this . I do not think I will ever buy meat from stop and shop.nMoney down the drain.
Store is dirty, poorly stocked, poorly managed, staff not helpful
They give coupons you cant use all the time
This S&S store is one of the best: clean, organized, well merchandised with everything clearly priced and virtually no missing tags. Kudos to management! Truly a store that stands out in this chain!
