It's a excellent place to shop for food. People are Covid19 aware and follow the guidelines. This alone is a great reason to shop here. Prices are higher than other markets but the selections and quality of the food are much better than many other markets! More check-out lines could be opened at peak hours but otherwise I highly recommend Shelton Big Y!

Big Y is a mandatory weekly stop for us. Their produce is the best in town, with a variety of locally grown and organic options.nThe staff is friendly and helpful. Every isle is kept neat and it's easy to find what you're looking for. It's always a positive shopping trip!
Super clean and store setup socially distances. Excellent varietal selection. My new favorite store.
Always organized and great place to do your grocery shopping at despite some things being a bit pricey. Would always come back and take advantage of their great sales.
