Planned Parenthood - Stamford Health Center

I've been to this location a handful of times and have seen several doctors and nurse practitioners at this office. I have nothing but positive things to say. The team of people who work at PP Stamford are helpful, aware, kind and incredibly accommodating to their patients. These are incredibly knowledgeable people who are willing to help you no matter what. I had a complication with one of my appointments and a regular doctor's office would have turned me away and told me to come back when I have an appointment. However Planned Parenthood of Stamford made time in their already fully booked schedule to make sure I had my needs met. This place goes above and beyond, and I wish more health offices could have the same human decency and understanding as Planned Parenthood does. I will gladly continue to use this location as my primary care physician office!

Excellent service, care and cleanliness, from top to bottom, this place is grade A phenomenal! No excessive wait times, no uncomfortable vibes and no bad attitudes will be found here! Thank you to everyone on staff and for those who donate!

During the pandemic, I reached out to Kadian who works as a Clinic Assistant at the PPH in Stamford, CT. I was in desperate need of an appointment and I had questions needed to be answered. Although her office was closed due to COVID, she was able to put me in contact with the closest PPH, which was in Bridgeport, CT. I was able to schedule an appointment for that same week, and the ladies there were able to help and address my concerns. Not only did Kadian go above and beyond to help me get in, she also followed up with me to make sure everything went well. She is the best!! And I highly recommend this PPH for their exceptional service!

What a terrible experience. I went in for STI/STD testing when I was in town to visit my family. I live in Chicago. The nurse couldn't find a vein and was poking at me, she realized she was struggling and called in the midwife. Midwife successfully took my blood from my finger (small veins). Let me know that they will send the tests off to the labs and if I do not hear anything back in the next 7-10 days that I am fine.nn7-10 business days went by and I was excited that I heard nothing. About a month later I get a call from Planned Parenthood in Stamford, CT letting me know they lost my blood work. Are you serious?! Not only did I pay a co-pay, and the additional requested amount of $35 via check, but I had ZERO results for what I visited the clinic to do.nnI called to get the visit refunded - and was denied. I was sent a letter by Planned Parenthood stating the mistake and they told me - maybe I could try to go into Chicago's Planned Parenthood and they'd waive the co-pay. When I called Chicago's Planned Parenthood - they couldn't help me waive any fee's.nnAll in all I spent $75 for NOTHING. and was given false information - that if I didn't hear back, I was in the clear.nnOverall an extremely poor experience. Too bad.

Staff was great! There was no wait place was clean doctor and staff was so nice so helpful I was so impressed I highly recommend this place!- michelle dias
