So I was in the store looking for work shoes with my boyfriend. When we got up to the register (there was only one operating at the time) there was a family of 3 ahead of us. And it was clear English is not their first language which is fine. But the girl checking them out (I didn’t get her name so I’ll just describe what she looks like) She was a petite Asian women possibly in her early 20s she looked but I’m not sure. Anyway, she was doing something on the phone with the customer (maybe a coupon or something) and was super short, impatient, and disrespectful to the customer. And raised her voice at the women. Because, the women wasn’t understanding what the employee was saying. I know it’s not completely the employees fault because in American we have this ideal that you should come here speaking fluent English. However, it is not a requirement here in America. But that doesn’t mean you should be disrespectful to someone who doesn’t have the language down to a T.
