We had a very positive experience with this hospital, Pediatric unit! The staff was so helpful, kind and accommodating. The room in the Pediatric unit was very comfortable and cozy. Lots of cheerful colors, characters, movies and popsicles. He even got to pick out a toy from the treasure chest! The doctors and nurses provided exceptional support and explained everything in detail - I can't thank them enough! This was our son's first hospital experience (since birth) and it turned out to be very positive for him (and for me)! Thank you for taking such good care of our little one!

Kootnie Hospital did seem more comfortable with taking my money than really trying to help. I never got a chance to say that I didn’t want to go to the ERD before I was wheeled back to a room and told that I needed a blood transfusion. Apparently, the other 2-3 times I have been turned away for my MRI with sedation is when they did blood work and saw that my blood count was a very low, blood count of 6!! ud83dude33I would have liked to have been told that the VERY FIRST TIME IT WAS CAUGHT!!! Btw, I was literally in the Patient room for 25-30 minutes before being allowed by the Dr. and after repeatedly asking to transfer to Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane which is where I live. I had to beg and plead numerous times, but the doctor finally granted my request as long as we came straight here.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hospital. I went in there with coronavirus symptoms, shortness of breath, fatigue and weakness due to symptoms for the last six days. I then needed to be asked the same questions over and over again while having difficulty breathing. I felt like there was no care just a number. My blood sugars had spiked I had a horrible headache and my mother needed to call in to the ER just to ask them to give me some Tylenol. They didn't give me a call light I had to ask for a pillow/blanket to be comfortable. I repeatedly asked for them to allow my husband to come in so that he could speak for me and was repeatedly given the apathetic denial. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had going into an ER. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I was there for a stomach ache that seemed to never go away. After 6 hours they wanted to open me up and see what was wrong. I decided to just wait it out a bit and the problem slowly subsided and went away. The Bill however hasnt gone away. They charged me over $6000 for less that 4 hour visit!!!! I was making payments on it and that wasnt good enough now im in collections because of it. Avoid this place at all costs.
