Cedars Floating Restaurant

We dined at Cedars on Thursday 11/12/2020 @645pm. I had the highly recommend Prime Rib which was amazing. My wife had the Pan Seared Scallops which she said were delicious. The ambiance was comfortable yet elegant. Even though everything was awesome, the highlight was our server Ariel. Ariel was very personable and sweet. She was very attentive, helpful, and very friendly. This was the best dining experience we have had in years, largely due to our awesome server Ariel. She even ran outside to hold the shuttle so we didn't miss our ride. Top notch experience all around. Extra thank you to Ariel. A+

We had a wonderful meal. We know it’s a nicer place and so we called ahead to see if it would be appropriate to bring our toddler with us for an early dinner. They were so kind and accommodating with a high chair and kids menu. Server was great with her. Our meals were fantastic with a view and a happy memory for the whole family. Biergarten filet was fantastic. All the staff were wearing masks and we were appropriately socially distanced (we were early and surely before capacity, but it seemed like they were making a clear effort to follow the rules). I am a little baffled by some of the other reviews I read - we would love to go back.

Amazing service and delicious food! Celebrated an anniversary and hit up what looked like a fancy place in town... glad we chose this place! It’s floating, but feels solid, awesome experience! We sat by the window on a smokey night, great ambience with the water and lights! Food amazing, got the ginger steak and salmon per waitress suggestion, was wonderful! I suggest reservations, I don’t think this place is ever not popular!

Amazing after they corrected there way over cooked meal

Well the restaurant was nice. The inside was a packed house during COVID-19 this was a bit concerning. Wait staff was wearing masks,but our waitress thought wearing a mask on you chin prevents the virus from spreading. Our reservation was for 8:15 seated immediately outside. The table was comparable to a traditional outside table like you might find at a chain restaurant. Outside heating did provided some nice heat. Ombiance was a bit lacking for a high end steak house. Salad bar was really good. Service at the salad bar was excellent. Entrees came out either luke warm or absolutely cold. Desert was not spectacular. We had a group of seven so maybe it was the large size...but in the end the experience was less them memorable for the cost. I would have given the review a two star only reason I did not was because of the salad bar!!
