So, I come in. It looks cheap but I’m hoping for the best. I’m super nice to the waitress and all. I order a root beer float for a drink. The ‘root beer float’ is not even root beer! It’s coke!! She charges me $8.50 for a average sized Coca Cola float. (Not what I asked for) 3.00 for each scoop of ice cream X2, and the root beer(2.50) I didn’t even ask for two ice cream scoops!!!! I simply asked why she charged so much. She immediately got attitude and said,” well that’s what I charge, you can talk to the manager.” She walked away from me. So I walked to where the manager and her were talking. I was very calm and just asked why I was being charged this much. They talked in Spanish a bit, I’m assuming talking about me. The manager just gave me 3 dollars in cash. That’s it. We just moved here. Thanks for the first impression of winnemucca!!!!
When they first opened, the food was very good. I would have given five stars. But unfortunately, the quality has gone down quite a bit. The service is good.
Update 2020: Revamped menu, Mexican and American food. Very good, excellent quality .
When we went in for dinner we were excited because they had a great menu. Then it went bad. The service was not great. All the food was over cooked and took a long time. My food was extremely burnt and when we told the waitress nothing was done and then we herd them all laughing in the kitchen. We were not impressed.
Revised my husband went in for lunch with a family member and said the lunch experience was much better. The staff was far more professional and the food was good. I guess the the time of day does matter here. I personally appreciate consistency so we will see if I go again.
Called asking if there was outdoor seating - pretty direct question - and was put on hold for over two (2) minutes while whoever discussed a potential job interview. Upon arriving, we were seated outside and then completely ghosted. A waitress passed us by twice, and after almost 15 minutes wasted, we left.
Thanks for the free salsa and chips. Will not return.
My chicken fajita taco bowl was just right! Flavorful and satisfying, it needed no add ons! I ordered to go & the service was great. A friendly & warm atmosphere, I will return!
