DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Albuquerque

Classic fancy adult getaway. Beautiful clean covid-19 safe rooms w modern fancy interior and cozy fluffy white crispy cold to the touch sheets! I love that newly clean hotel room smell.

We booked the presidential suite for two nights. The cost was $460 total including parking. When we got up to the suite, there was no bags in the trash cans. We had a baby and needed to throw away diapers. The toilet had low pressure and clogged up. The creamer for the coffee was rotten. There was hair in the bathroom and the toilet paper wasn't full or properly displayed with a "triangle". If you are going to charge so much, at least do the housekeeping right. The front desk people were nice and the director of food and beverage unclogged the toilet for me. Not sure if I would stay here again.

It seems that parking is an issue at this location and nothing is done about it. Unfortunately I wasn't told there was an additional charge of $15.00 for parking when I booked it over the phone. Pretty shady business if you ask me. I won't stay here again! Reception clerk was pleasant. Hairs on bathroom floor should not exist when paying $100 per night for a room! Zoom in on picture and you will see a few hairs, there are more but I'm tired.

We went onto the website and filled out that we needed a room for three adults and two children (one 2 years old and one under 2). We were told to book the king room with Mountain View and so we did. I even called and waited on hold to confirm that the room had a king bed and a pull out bed and a woman confirmed the room would and that we could even get a roll away bed. When we arrived, we were put in room 208 which had two double beds and didn’t work for us (and also was not what we booked). I called and was told we could have a king room but it didn’t have a fold out. The young man working was very kind but said he couldn’t do anything because there was no manager on duty. We ended up moving rooms and getting one roll away bed. The room was small and a bit outdated so it made for a less than comfortable stay. In the morning, I spoke to the manager and while she was nice and apologetic (one reason I didn’t give this one star), they didn’t remedy the situation. She did say she’d make sure double tree knew of the issue so they’d update their website to be accurate. I’d overall say this was a disappointing stay. We will not be returning.

Beds and bedding very comfortable but only full size instead of queen/king. No continental breakfast. Reasonable check out time. Breakfast not made to order. The patio was very nice.
