Joe's Shoe Service

This shop is absolutely awesome.

We've been going to Joe's since he was on Columbia Ave. and were never disappointed with anything. Great service, great quality work. Joe is the real deal, a craftsman.

They were very apologetic when I went in, but for those of you looking for actual shoe repair… They don’t do it anymore. The gentleman told me they lost their full-time employee, and he just didn’t have time to do all of the work himself.They strictly deal with orthopedic type shoes and inserts.

I’ve had mixed experiences here. There was a woman who hand stitched the lining of a beloved pair of boots a few years ago, and she did an excellent job. But recently I’ve had less than satisfactory results. Whenever I’ve brought in shoes to be stretched wider they have never been stretched enough.

Excellent experience with my orthotics that Joe made. Joe keeps me walking!
