Worst dining experience ever. My dinner companion and I ordered our food at the same time. Thirty minutes later his meal came out, they dropped his plate off and scurried away. A good server would acknowledge that there were two of you and check with the kitchen on the other order. Thirty minutes later the waitress finally appeared again and I had to explain to her that my order never showed up. She explained she forgot to put in the order, but would do so right away. It took another 30 minutes for my food to come out and my companion was done with their meal by this time. So, not only was I eating alone after waiting an hour and a half, but the food was awful. We had the trout which was dried out, and the meatloaf which was also dry and flavorless. Both came with steamed broccoli, who does that anymore? Its not the 1970s Boise. Meatloaf should be a combination of beef, veal, and pork with herbs and seasonings, what came out instead was beef, breadcrumbs, and zero flavor. I should have known better because this same hotel has the Sandbar restaurant and their food is inedible.

It's a quiet, relaxing place to go if you want to talk and have a drink over a good meal. Very comfortable, funky, blue velvet chairs with brass studs around several 4-top tables.. Our waitress was great; professional and she really strived to make sure we were satisfied. My Caesar salad was crispy-fresh salad greens with a nice dressing. I ordered sweet potato fries on the side and they came out hot and crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside, sprinkled with very delicate slivers of Parmesean cheese. (Some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had.) My companion had the encrusted salmon and a house salad, which he said were delicious. There was live music the night we were there, which added to the ambiance. If you want a nice evening out where you feel at home but very well cared for, this place is hard to beat.

High price tag at every turn. Drinks are good but very small and expensive. Beautiful hotel and comfortable cozy atmosphere just be prepared to pay for it.

The brunch breakfast (when not Covid season) is awesome! Best buffet brunch around. They are now serving breakfast a plate at a time. We had the southern eggs Benedict and it was delish! The dinner was good. Not over the top but was good! Crab cakes were great The! The bar service is a bit slow at times but ahe does serve good, well made cocktails! The music is so nice during eating. Wish it were a bit longer during the evenings. All in all, it is a great place to eat!
