They're trying hard!

I was surprised for my Thanksgiving visit , a night at the anniversary Inn. Papa Joe's was within walking distance of the motel. Beautiful scenery ud83dude0d and absolutely great service. I had the meatball sub, and it was delicious! ( I even woke up in the middle of the night to finish it) lol ! Location is phenomenal, because it's right on the corner for easy access!

Overall a positive experience. The service was good and while there was an issue with our order, the owner was extremely gracious and took care of it. We will definitely be back!

The dinner was a joke from start to finish. The only thing that was right was that she sat us at a big enough table and brought out water to begin. She asked us if we were celebrating something, I guess because we all came in laughing and joking. We told her kind of because 2 of our party had gotten married the day before. I say she because she never did say what her name was. She asked if we wanted something other than water. I told her I wanted wine. She said she would bring the menus and we ordered an app. She brought drink menus and took that order. Before she left she told us if we wanted to move to the bar we could, there was plenty to drink and music. Ok...not sure why she said that since we had our 12 and 14 yr old sons with us. It got even weirder from there. It took forever to get our drinks and our app was cold. There was only one other table of 4 there and they had a different server. The wine serving was small and the rest of the cocktails were mostly alcohol which is great if you want to party. But we were just there to have a nice fun dinner. I had to ask for eating utensils after we received our app. All the guys at the table got huge portions while my daughter in law and I got small portions. The consensus from the rest of the family was that the red meat sauce had too much sugar and their food was just ok. We didn't order desert or coffees as the server was hoping and we paid the check and left. I never write reviews but this was just such a strange experience from beginning to end, I felt I had to share. My recommendation, go anywhere (Olive Garden), anywhere but here.

My husband and I came to Papa Joe's for date night. Delicious pizza and pasta. And I absolutely loved my mimosa. Great service amazing food! Thanks for making out date night so enjoyable. We will be back for sure.
