Beaver Valley Hospital

I was moving from Tucson to Spokane, WA. I stopped to spend the night at the Quality Inn (very good by the way!). I woke up at 2:30 a.m. realizing I was heading towards a nasty bladder infection. Googled hospital near me, and drove straight to the only one in Beaver. I was the only one in the ER & was promptly evaluated, given a pill to get me started & and a prescription. The personnel was very professional, friendly & compassionate. I was very grateful.

Very clean hospital with super nice people. In emergency room and out in less than an hour. I wish the ER in Riverside, Ca was as efficient and quick.

Heaven forbid if you have to speak to the billing department. They discredit everything you say and if you don’t cave under their bullying, they will send a lawyer to do it for them.

Because the Milford Clinic staff didn’t do their job, I ended up in the Beaver ER. When we got the bill, I sent a letter contesting the charges because it was their staffs fault I was there (plus their prices were drastically inflated) but that I would pay a portion of it, which I did. Three months later I finally get a response from the hospital via phone call after I sent my letter again with a tracker to make sure it got there. After that call and an additional follow up call a week later, I was basically told they didn’t do anything wrong, and I was responsible for the $1000+ bill. And that their facilities were the same quality as these bigger hospitals which is why they are charging me those prices. I asked for their official response in writing and they sent me a flippant letter over a month later basically saying they already talked to me about the issue and I should pay up. They have no concern for their patients, just the money. Which is why, at seven months pregnant, I switched to a doctor in Cedar City because I was not taking my chance at their facility with my baby. If I could give them a zero I would.

This review is based on an after hours ER visit. We needed to visit due to unforeseen circumstances. The staff was friendly, and called in the appropriate doctors quickly (after hours). We were well taken care of, and the facility was clean.
