You want to try an inconspicuous place that has killer food and awesome service. Try this place. We went there on a Saturday night. Cozy outdoor seating. Top shelf wine selection. Food is first class. Great service. Highly recommend.

INCREDIBLE! Among the best Garden City and Boise have to offer, The Local is a must-visit. Friendly & knowledgeable staff, amazing food, a constantly rotating collection of the best local beer/wine, charming atmosphere featuring a comfortable patio and showcasing really cool local art. New ownership has really made this place shine!!

Our lunch was amazing! My spouse got the mac and cheese and thought it was wonderful. I tried the vegetable Dagwood sandwich and added roasted turkey so I could have the best of both worlds:-) and it was!!

This place is a very coolnCozy spot to bring that special one!! Atmosphere is relaxing , music is upbeat, service was phenomenal, and food was excellent!!! And the beer was great too!!
