Astria Toppenish Hospital | Emergency Room

I worked for the astria in Yakima. The place was a joke. Management was horrorible. Over worked staff, no communication, never addressed concerns for help or guidance. They wouldn’t pay mileage when we had to travel to Toppenish even though we filed out mileage sheets to do get reimbursed as we were told.nI worked as an Medical Assistant. Higher up management did not know what they were doing. I’m saddened that they closed the doors in Yakima. The doctors I worked with were the best. Caring compassionate, hard working. We were treated unfairly and stolen from. Astria is a horrible company. It sickens me how they handled the people of Yakima, and their employees.

Emergency department is a joke those ladies have the worst compassion, non emotional, immortal looking azz. They need to retrain on customer service especially when dealing with sensitive situations. The two security guards looked lazy just sitting down signaling with their hands instead of talking like a normal human to stay inside while I wait for someone to check my temperature when I have a serious emergency blood dripping down my arm. Seriously I could die from my current injuries while I wait for someone to check my temperature for covid-19... whatta joke. They need to reread the hospitals message to their patients

Fantastic staff; very friendly. Excellent surgeon.

They have televisions with first run on demand movies and video games and the nurses brought my non-injured daughter coloring pages and numerous juice boxes.

My fiance Nelson was in ICU and the care was excellent and they kept me updated on his status and there were two nurses that I really appreciated susie and Katie they gave Nelson excellent care I really liked them they really cared about his wellbeing because of covid I couldn't go in and meet these two nurses but they always kept me updated on what was happening with Nelson so thanks for your excellent care that you gave to Nelson you guys are an amazing team
