I worked for the astria in Yakima. The place was a joke. Management was horrorible. Over worked staff, no communication, never addressed concerns for help or guidance. They wouldn’t pay mileage when we had to travel to Toppenish even though we filed out mileage sheets to do get reimbursed as we were told.nI worked as an Medical Assistant. Higher up management did not know what they were doing. I’m saddened that they closed the doors in Yakima. The doctors I worked with were the best. Caring compassionate, hard working. We were treated unfairly and stolen from. Astria is a horrible company. It sickens me how they handled the people of Yakima, and their employees.

I visited the ER 3 times within 7 days and they kept sending me home (each time feeling worse) after making me wait for long periods (one was eating their sandwich). They refused to do further testing and each doctor had told me I had one illness then later said I didn’t have it and said “I actually don’t know what’s wrong with you.” The last time I visited them within that week they gave me 2 bags of fluids and a few hours later I went to another hospital who immediately realized that both my kidneys were failing on top of many other issues. Do not recommend for any reason. Go somewhere else.

I will never go to this hospital their terrible. I got in a car crash yesterday and I went in and the nurses were careless and the Doctor(Swensen, Kirk) too. They didn’t offer me pain pills I had to ask for them. They didn’t want to do X-rays, they didn’t provide me with ice pack my neck was in pain and so was my chest and abdomen. They didn’t even offer a neck brace so careless. I had to argue with the Doctor to get X-rays done, can’t believe how lonely I felt they had me waiting for a long time with no care. Worst place ever... do not recommend to anyone I should of had gone to prosser hospital.
