Our appointment time was 15 mins late, and then after the appointment we waited in line for 20 mins to resolve an issue. There were only two people ahead of us in line. They clearly need to have more people working cause this was way too long of a process.
My frustration is the same as others... I just want to call my branch. I need to ask if they had the US cash I was needing.. you can't just call. Waiting on hold for a National representative who transfers me back to the place I tried to call in the first place. What is the big deal with letting the public phone the local branch - doesn't Scotiabank trust them to answer questions appropriately?
Need to call the branch to find out who deals with mortgages, transferred to call center, on hold for 20 mins and then I hung up. Will take my mortgage elsewhere
Why can't I call the branch directly? You give out a local phone number, but there seems to be no option to actually talk to a live person at that location -- keep getting transferred to a national support centre.nI needed to find out if you're actually open today because with all the power outages many places are not. And according to the BC Hydro outage map, you're in an area that has no power.nThis is a really poor customer experience.
Just like every other review here - Unbelievably terrible customer service all around. Don't lie to your customers, try to learn to be pleasant since you work in a customer facing industry, and maybe hire some competent employees. Worse than useless.
