I have had Ungerman's Meats process my livestock and wild game for 10+ years. They are always wonderful to work with. They are happy to meet me after hours for drop offs. They do great work, and are always prompt. They bend over backwards to keep me happy. Thanks for the great service guys!!!!

BEWARE!!!!! Dont go here!! We took our Spike elk meat to be processed and the hide to be treated with the fur on. The meat was ready in about 4 weeks. He stated he had a sub contractor for the hide he sent it up to Salt lake to be treated. Months went by, phone calls not returned he said he would call his guy , but nothing! Finally 2 weeks ago I was able to speak with the owner, yet again and he was short and rude like he had no idea what I was talking about (we spoke several times before and every time he would ask for my number , write it down and tell me he would call me back) Finally he said that our hide was most likely thrown away because it was not able to be treated with the hair on due to some condition. He didnt even contact us or even give us the option to get it back or have it treated with the hair off. He didnt even notify us that it would be thrown away.. he just kept avoiding us. Absolutely unprofessional disrespectful and a theif!! He just threw our hard work away. . Sad. I even went as far as asking who his contractor was. He said they wouldnt talk to me or know what I was talking about... ???? WTF??? Seriously?? Never again. Exctremly unprofessional. 10/14/2019 To the owner, Thanks for the response and education! I find it interesting you respond here on reviews but not to my phone calls or being straight forward with this whole process from the beginning. The problem here isn't even the hide at this point, it's the fact there where no phone calls being returned or even communicated that there was an issue. Good luck on your future communication to other paying customers of your personal decision making with out notifying them of disposing there property. I dont think that's how a good bussiness is ran.
