Had a great time chatting with a younger teller named Ethan. Very informative for the questions I asked. Super personable hope to deal with him again
the phone wait times and line ups are horrible. I have been trying tonget through for 3 weeks they always say the wait times are larger than usualnbut really this has been the excuse over 10 years.
The people who work the general area are nice, the building is clean and nothing stands out as being off putting. I have been with Scotiabank for over 7 years and I made an apt to sit down with a banker and discuss the basics: credit, buying a home, etc. The lady I met with, Jas (something or other) acted as though I was wasting her time with my questions and basically told me that she wasn't able to help (I was only asking for advice?). I found this service incredibly off-putting. She didn't even bother to discuss current income, other banks I use, trust funds, business endeavours. I'm not sure if Scotiabank should have people like this representing their business, I'm now convinced that another bank is best for me.
Worst bank i have ever dealt with. Poorest customer service . Brad the manager should be trained on what makes a bank worth dealing with . Customer service is EVERYTHING Brad.
