I've taught dance for 40 yrs and this studio is so run down....unprofessional (like not paying instructors....lacking talent (passed down to the daughter)....etc etc. Waste of time and money
I went to the dance studio for years and it was one of the highlights of my childhood. I had so much fun, I learned how to exercise and stretch my body, and I built a lot of confidence through recitals! They have been a long time favorite of many families I know and I would recommend this studio to anyone.
I absolutely love this place. So welcoming for someone who was anxious about returning to dance!
The Dance Studio has been teaching students for 35 years in Whatcom County. We had 3 students audition and were accepted in Jeoffrey Ballet this summer, 2013. We have traveled to Australia 5 different times performing, once to Japan and this summer 8 students are traveling to Finland to perform. Besides the Spring Performance every year at the Mt. Baker Theatre, Brittany Setter (owner/director), has written a Christmas Program - 'Saving Christmas Town' which is performed in December, 4-5 productions at Bellingham High School. A great ballet based studio where students take tap, hip hop, jazz, musical theater, adagio, pointe and are well rounded in their dance experiences. Thousands of children have passed thru our studio over the years and many have gone on to professional dance companies. The Dance Studio offers the Best Dance Experience in Bellingham.
